Adventures in Home Ownership, Plumbing Edition

This is a positive-outlook blog, so I shall not complain about the unsurprising but egregious error with the Manabloc PEX system, made by the plumbers-who-shall-not-be-named that we used in 1999 – which was only discovered about 20 minutes ago when our current-and-competent plumber came to install an outdoor faucet. Instead I shall rejoice that the resultant leak was minimal, and that we now have Actual Plumbers™ to correct it, so it looks like there will be neither drilling-through-doorsills nor refusals-to-complete-work-without-telling-me-why — and I won’t need to yell at the owner or anyone else. Such a refreshing change.

But, since a part is needed that they don’t normally use, it still looks as if I’ll be carrying jugs of water out to my little garden for one more day.
